About Us
Taylor & Brook Peters
Taylor Peters was raised on a family ranch in Davidson, Oklahoma. Growing up, he learned how to ride, rope, run cattle, and most importantly, he developed a love for animals and a work ethic that serves him and his clients today. At West Texas A&M, Taylor college rodeoed, competing in team roping and bulldogging while also completing a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. For a change of pace, he worked under thoroughbred trainer Danny Pish for a year in Cibolo, Texas learning how to start racehorses, before moving to Pueblo, Colorado to start two-year-olds for the historic Tee Cross Ranch. In 2018, Taylor signed on as an assistant trainer for multiple AQHA world champion Ben Baldus at Baldus Horsemanship, training versatility ranch horses and cowhorses and assisting non-pros. Taylor's most memorable show pen moment to date was winning the NRCHA Stallion Stakes Limited Open Hackamore on Hollywood Big Star in 2020. Taylor has moved back to his family ranch to train horses in cow horse, ranch horse versatility, stock horse, and roping with his wife Brook Peters.
