Taylor started riding my home grown gelding as a 3 year old, Huck, and has helped us achieve our goal to be competitive in the versatility ranch horse world.  I struggled with my run downs, being brave enough to run to the fence and going fast enough to get a good stop and Taylor really helped build my confidence and skill over time.  When problems would pop up with Huck as I was riding at home, I was able to get a lesson with Taylor and he was able to work through any issue I had.  If something wasn’t working he would switch it up and try something different until we solved the problem.  We started showing at local shows and moved up to showing SHTX.  We have been very successful so far winning 3 overall buckles and staying in the top ten all season in SHTX.  This success would not have been possible without the hours of training and help Taylor put into me and Huck.  Taylor has also helped my daughter Kaley.  She was a very beginner rider and has developed into a competitive youth rider.  She is a typical teenager who doesn’t like to listen to her mom about riding.  Taylor has the ability to connect with her so that she listens to him and does what is needed to improve."--Thea Eubanks

"I first met a Taylor Peters on a beautiful day in Bowie,TX only a few years ago.  After experiencing some learning years I was ready to up my game and I knew I needed some help. I found the team at Baldus Horsemanship and this kicked off the beginning of some great relationships and learning sessions. Taylor was always available for personal sessions and I began to seek his coaching. My most memorable time with Taylor was at the derby at the world show in 2020. I had just bought a 4 year old and had no experience with riding a young horse. Taylor was patient, clear and concise with his instructions and coached me to score an 80 in the trail course.
